Reclaiming the Future: Our Commitment to the Boy Child
Reclaiming the Future: Our Commit-
ment to the Boy Child
At The Torch of Refuge Welfare Foundation, we believe that a balanced society is only possible when every child is given the opportunity to thrive. While global efforts have made incredible strides in supporting young girls, a growing crisis of neglect has left many young boys vulnerable, overlooked, and abandoned to the hardships of street life.
Why the Boy Child?
The streets are not a home, yet for many boys aged 7–18, they have become a place of survival. Without intervention, these young men face a cycle of exploitation, lack of education, and lost potential. We recognize that to build a stable future for our communities, we must address this unique necessity and provide a "lighthouse" for those who have lost their way.
Our Approach: From the Pavement to the Classroom
Our Boy Child Empowerment initiative is not just about temporary shelter; it is about total restoration. We are dedicated to removing boys from the streets and placing them on a definitive path toward a dignified life through:
Holistic

Providing a safe haven, quality healthcare, and the emotional support needed to transition from street life.
Quality
